Question for guys- about engagement rings.?
When you chose or will chose an engagement ring will you include your girl? I mean will you consult her before you get it. I am just wondering how much though it put into the process. Do you want to pick something that is reasonably priced, something she will like?

Do both men and women wear engagement rings? Or is it just that woman in that relationship?
It's up to the guy. We're in the 21st century, if we can have female Best Men and male MOH's then there's nothing wrong with a guy wanting an engagement ring.

Where to buy a great engagement ring at a great price? What's reasonable to spend, on average?
I'm not looking at lab made diamonds, apologies in advance to those on an ethics bend about that. We looked at Robbins Brothers and I'm wondering if there are better deals to be had. Any other recommendations? I'd like to come up with a few options.

Question for women about engagement rings…is this unorthodox?
I have been with my very loving GF for 3 yrs now. She has been with me through alot of thick and thin. Weird to have sapphire engagement ring?
Is it weird to have a sapphire engagement ring? I knew my fiance was planning on buying me one before he proposed, and I told him I wanted it. Some of my friends mentioned it's weird, but I absolutely love it!

Who gets to keep the engagement ring?
My fiancee and I bought a house together three years ago. About a year ago we opened a home equity line in his name with which he used to do a balance transfer of the credit card he used to pay for the ring. We have broken up and he claims the ring is a conditional gift.
